The quality of teaching practice being good or bad influences teachers' quality to a certain extent, and the performances of education practice students directly reflect whether the teaching practice is successful or not. Teaching practice can help novice to equip with much experience in teaching. In order to put the teaching practice into fullplay, it is needed to make practice students enjoy full performance support and problem solving by some means. As IT application in education goes further, IT is more and more widely applied to educational sector. There have been some studies in combination of IT and teaching practice. But they haven't involved performance technology. The project 'The design and development of education practice electronic performance support system' was born in this situation.The study is based in above project through the quantitative research method in conjunction with qualitative method to analyze, design, develop, try out, evaluate. Furthermore to put forward some suggestions to the application of such a supported system in education practice. The study hopes to analyze the factor influencing teaching practice students' performance through literature research and investigation to propose a plan which is utilized to improve those students' performance and enhance their abilities by trying the online supported system. The qualitative method is applied to measure desirability, feasibility, implementation, validity of the system. Collect the first hand data from the system trial by the means of questionnaire and interview.The thesis is consisted of seven parts. The preface introduces the entire research subject generally. The first chapter analyzes the positive factors and obstacles of teaching practice by carrying out the state investigation. The second chapter refers to define the cone concepts, to summarize the documents, to overview the according theory basis. It also includes the function of IT and the desirability, feasibility of the system. The third chapter designs the system detail with the instructional design theory. The fourth chapter describes the development of the system. The content of the fifth chapter is about the trial, the trial objects, procedure, evaluation, reflection, promotion and suggestion. The section of concluding remarks looks back on the whole study, and made a further suggestion to make better.The result showed that the system supported teaching practice, and interactive module was most effective.
