| The aim of Website's IA(Information Architecture) is help people to find and manage information easily in the network environment.It consists of two elements: providing information what the users need;organizing the information in order to makes information accessible.First IA should define which information the users need;second use the web site organization systems,marking systems,navigation systems and the search system to make the information more in line with users need.IA has been formally proposed since 1976.It has developed for more than 30 years. With the development of the Internet,many companies have found that the importance of the network,and have set up their own websites.Companies websites developed quickly, but most websites just provided the pronouncement.Companies hope to be rewarded by providing information and services for their customers through the websites,but most of them do not achieve their desired results.One of the important reason is that websites don't have good IA construction.It means that the websites are not clear what information users need,and don't have a good organization of information to meet the user's habits.How to design and make the companies websites more useful and the users could get as much information as they want? In this paper I use IA to construct companies websites in order to provide a new idea.The first chapter is the topics on the background,the significance of the framework, the research methods of the full text.The second,third chapter are about IA of companies websites research,and a detailed study for the needs of e company website user.The fourth,fifth chapter choose online bank,the Online Bank of China Merchants Bank for the study,and find its strengths and weaknesses by IA analysis.The majority of research data were accessed on internet by visiting the website and using Online Bank,another part of data obtained by research report.The sixth chapter is conclusion.It points out the innovations and disadvantage of this article. |
