Virtual reality has been wildly applied in simulation field because of its verisimilitude. With the application of virtual reality, the way used in the training of high voltage test of electrical system of transformer station is no longer just through text presentation but virtual site operation. And virtual safety accident, virtual maintenance and virtual operation have appeared.The study aims at the development of client system for virtual operation of the high voltage test of electrical system with the combination of virtual reality and circuit simulation. The client system is intergraded into the training system of high voltage test of electrical system for electrician. Trainee can login into the training system, and do the virtual operation for the high voltage test of electrical system of transfer station. And the operation can be recorded by the training system so as to check or evaluate the operational process by instructor.The key technologies used in the devotement of the client system for virtual operation of high voltage test of electrical system are discussed in the thesis. The key technologies include the data transfer between the client for virtual operation and server for the computation of circuit simulation, the creation of virtual instruments based on the general parts of instruments. Based on the discussion, the thesis elaborates the design and implementation of the client system, the main content include the creation of virtual instrument, virtual operation, the molding and optimization of 3D virtual scene of operation site, and the data communication between the client and server. Finally, the integration of training system is discussed. Through the client system, the operation information will be transferred to the server for circuit simulation computation on time and the result will be returned back to the client system so as to create an environment for virtual operation of the high voltage test of electrical system. This study expands the applied range of virtual reality in teaching and learning, and provides a valid way for the training of high voltage test of electrical system. It would have good application prospects.
