A Study On The Status Quo Of Sports Wbsites In Colleges In Fujian Province And Countermeasures

Since 1990s, there has been a new trend, characteristic of an extensive application of information technology, in international education community. Therefore, it is also called the educational informationization phenomenon. The major feature of the phenomenon is to extensively apply modern information technology in teaching with computer multimedia and internet communication. The development has a strong current and a deep influence. It is an important issue for the sports in college to adjust to the educational informationization. Sports websites based on campus internet is a window and platform of promoting informationization. Therefore, it is significant to study on how to better build up sports websites in colleges.The paper is based on the background of educational informationization and is finished with the assistance of previous related research in other disciplines, such as computer science, informatics, physical education. The author studies the design, content, function of the sports websites in Fujian Province University(take Xiamen University and 17 others as example) through many ways, such as literature review, web poll, charts, and statistics. And the author also tries to analyze the problems and difficulties of the websites. For example, the forms of the web pages are disordered, no contents can be found in many sub links, the construction lacks distinction, depth and extent. Also, the sites focus on administration and promotion while they ignore the construction of sports resources database, and the service for students. Consequently, the sharing, inquiry and feedback functions are developing slowly.As for the shortcomings of the websites, the author suggests five referential strategy suggestions through deep research and thinking: attaching enough importance to the websites construction and emphasizing the key points and features; building the websites including static information, interaction, dynamic information, and functional columns; forming a professional sports information database, including six systems: a basic sports information system, a test resources system, a multimedia teaching system, a administration system for constitutional evaluation, and a feedback administration system; drawing on experience from developed countries and developed areas; offering informationization administration and service for sports websites and realize the data sharing and application integration with other information system in colleges (teaching administration system, internet teaching system, educational administration system, digital library system, studentsadministration system, personnel administration system, etc.).
