Network Edition Of PHS CSMS System

At present the domestic widespread mobile networks have GSM, CDMA, PHS systems. Among these three kinds of digital cellular mobile network, PHS (Personal Handy phone System) wireless system is called as"Xiao Ling Tong", because of its obvious benefits, such as the softer terminal transmission power, the lower cost & expense, portable, environmental protection, it has gradually been developing maturely in recent years. PHS invented in Japan adopts the RCR STD-28 air interface standards for digital cordless communication system, which makes no distinguishing boundaries between fixed line and mobile communications systems, moving forward to seamless communications. PHS can provide telephone services from the most basic calls to the cutting-edge multi-media services and cover many other operations. It can be widely used in different countries for variable needs of different users.CSMS stands for Cell Site Management System. It takes one important role of PHS system, mainly focusing on base station active status monitoring, the real-time alarm gathering, failure diagnosis, software parameter downloading, working pattern adjustment, telephone traffic data collection, etc. Along with the PHS network capacity expansion and the customer maintenance pattern transformation, the original version, the district base station management pattern network management system can no longer meet the customer needs to maintain the base stations. Decentralizing management of base station, unifying database of base station, optimizing network & providing support, improving processing speed of a client network management system for base stations, all of above is the new requests from customer, which raised the issue of the development of PHS cell site management system.This article first introduced the current situation of base station network management as well as the background and significance of the topic, then described the original constraints of the base station network management system and the new customer demand for the base station maintenance. Based on a detail analysis to the new requests from the user of CSMS, network environment, function requirement, maintenance analyses, the article proposed a new software modular structure and completed the software modeling. In addition, it also described in details on the selection and establishment of the new system database and the structure. Finally, it indicated the feasibility of the software system through the illustration and description of the network management contracture, the software architecture and the functional modules.
