In this paper characteristics of carrier wave communication and automatic meter reading technology are deeply studied in China.Then a proper project is proposed,which is data transmission device based on low-voltage power line and 485-bus is the primary and infrared communication is the secondary.No matter communication is normal or not,it can achieve acquiring users'data.Then hardware and software of data acquisition device are designed and accomplished based on the PL3105C.Several typical interference sources with their generation and spectrum are analyzed in power system,and then some corresponding anti-jamming methods including hardware and software are taken to improve the reliability of data transmission device.Finally,some experiments and tests are done both in the laboratory and the 220V power line, results showed that the developed data transmission device has met the anticipated requirements.
