With the rapid development of network technology and the informatization of Industrial automation, Network turns out to be the main developed trend in the future life of the industrial automation. Remote supervisory and control system, as the vital method to industrial automation, can not only implement the humanized producing environment and remote maintenance of the control network. Meanwhile, it can also integrate control and management from information and logic through on-site control and upper management, which is so-called "control & management all-in-one". Remote SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system, based on C/S model of network, integrated the current technology of data acquisition, network communication and oriented-objected. To satisfy the users'multiple requirements, the system also absorb the technology of wireless communication and embedded B/S architecture. The present data communication implemented in SCADA system can be simply classified into wire and wireless. The new application of SMS or GPRS made it possible for the data transmission in SCADA system. The embedded communication architecture can create open, controllable software through DCOM technology and OPC standard. OPC, realized by C/S model, provide user as an OPC server, resolve the conflicts between the software and hardware OEM, integrate the system and enhance the open and control of the system. OPC (OLE for Process Control), acts as a bridge between the application, based on Windows and on-sited process control. Combined with the case, which complete the design and implement of the remote SCADA system based on C/S model, deeply reach on SCADA system will be executed.
