| Computer is the common terminal access equipment to internet at present. However in our country, farmers cannot pay for the expensive computers. Televisions have been popularly universalized in rural areas, so surfing on the internet by television is an effective solution of above question.Because that the internet information have been designed by the computer screen resolution ratio, the web page is displayed with best visual effects at the ratio of 800*600 or higher. However, the screen resolution ratio of Chinese PAL television is commonly 720*576, which is lower than the necessary ratio of web page. At this situation, the display format of web page is accordingly required to be transferred.The Format conversion of web page displayed by television is the primary content in this paper. Regarding television as reaching object, this paper analysed the difference of display principle between television and computer monitor, proposed the method combining previews and topic information extraction of web page based on DOM, and presented different conversion strategies to transfer various web pages. |
