The Research And Application Of IPTV Key Technology

IPTV service Uses TV sets as it's display terminal, which accesses the broadband network using STB or other digital device with video and audio coding ability. The users receive the VOD, Live TV and other services through the remoter and other devices..This paper firstly introduces the concept and structure of IPTV business platform. Then we did some study on the practical application of a number of key technologies such as video codec technology and content distribution technology. On this base, we design a modern distance education platform operation schemes for the Party members and cadres in Henan rural areas., and make a series of research and application into video coding technology, transcoding software andtranscoding test. In addition, according to business operation and characteristics of IPTV system we put forward the solution based on the intelligent CDN.This paper mainly includes the following aspects:1. we seriously collected materials,analyzed the basic principle and the development related to IPTV and elaborated the architecture design of party construction platform system.2. The paper seriously analyzed the principle and common standards of the video coding in IPTV system, tested and achieved the transcoding system based on H264 coding of the project.3. According to the structure we constructed an intelligent content distribution Network and conducted related network concurrent tests.After the project of the party construction in Henan working in recent years, it was proved that the structure of the related platform technical design is accord with the current development situation within the province and the IPTV System has certain practical significance. Of course, in actual operations, it is continuously improved and optimized according to the user's requirements or platform function. It is greatly promoting the countryside informationization and the long-range education career of the party members.
