| Balance function is an important guarantee to protect human beings from injury to their bodies in diverse activities during daily life.Therefore,the balance function of human beings is being wildly studied in various fields such as work safety,medicine and Kinematics.Balance status can be depicted well by the sway trajectory of human being's barycenter.Therefore,the platform style balance function testing apparatus,which is used to detect the trajectory of human being's barycenter, is widely used in the field of balance function study.To attend to the needs of studies on balance function of human beings,this paper aimed to develop a platform type static balance testing apparatus -Balance Function Testing Apparatus(BTA) using wireless communication technology.Based on the characteristics and intents of balance function testing,eight parameters were selected from those parameters,which are widely used in currently studies on balance function of human beings.The balance function of human beings could be evaluated better by these selected parameters than by others.In addition,the optimal algorithms of the selected parameters to the apparatus were put forward based on the study of several algorithms.In addition,this paper developed the hardware structure of the apparatus,using the knowledge of wireless communication,microcontroller,computer technology and the Principles of Signal Processing;the professional testing software,using Visual Basic.This software can calculate parameters exactly,real-time depict the sway trajectory of human being's barycenter and manage the system information conveniently;background database,using Access,aimed to support the Data Manage Module of the professional testing software.BTA possesses portable,flexible testing and user-friendly traits.Having approved by results of experiments on objects and human subjects,BTA can calculate parameters accurately,and test reliably and sensitively,and be used in various fields like work safety. |
