The emergence of mobile TV has opened up a new information dissemination channel which is free from the control of time and space. The users of mobile TV can watch the fastest up-to-date dynamic information. As a new means of communication, mobile TV has the visual of television media, portable of radio media, remain of newspapers and the interactivity of Internet media. It adds a new mode of transmission of information to the old, and also brings challenges to traditional TV media.There are many aspects to be studied in the uniqueness of mobile TV. And in this paper, it focuses on the mobile TV content and the current spread of the effects that has achieved. There are main five parts in this paper. The first part mainly describes the development of mobile TV, the various features of mobile media, and based on the above it shows that mobile TV is the destiny of the development of mobile media. And the inevitable trend of the media is the embodiment of"tendency of human nature"and"compensatory principle"theories. It expounds the concept of mobile TV, and does an analysis of its main features. On this basis, it describes the current domestic and international mobile TV technologies, standards and the development.In the second part, it starts from the constraints factors of providing mobile TV programs. Do some analysis of the existing programs and the main classification. It shows the principles of the changing from the traditional television to mobile TV, and during this course what must been given up and what should be kept, all these questions can be explained, through the cases from the mobile TV service of China Mobile.In the third part, it explains the difference between mobile TV and traditional TV program. And it gives a comparative analysis of the two kinds of program forms.In the forth part, it focuses on the spread of the characteristics of mobile TV and the current spread of results obtained. To find out the existing problems of mobile TV, it does an analysis on the basis of the data and case of the Mobile TV program.And Part V focuses on the current development of mobile TV problems, combined with the success of Japan and South Korea and other countries experience. It makes exploratory assumption of the prospects for mobile TV, and hopes to make a valuable reference for the development of mobile TV.
