CCTV Science and Education Channel further the way by continuous form revision to be a professional documentary channel. Shenzhen, Beijing, Chongqing, Changsha and other relative developed regions open documentary channel in succession.As television becomes more entertaining and vulgarized, documentaries with higher cultural quality and appreciation, which focus on changes of the times,the innermost thoughts of pople and the real society,bring knowledges to extend people's eyes and refine their mind. However,on the way of specialization of the documentary channel, the lack of program sources ,low audience rating and difficult management of advetisement make it fall into an awkward predicament. As the outstanding figure in this industry, how can this kind of channel find a suitable way to develop under the industrialization and marketization of television.
