| How the cooperative enterprises , in industrial chain , to achieve real-time information sharing and exchange, and realize quickly and efficiently collaborative business based on network, has become an important factor of the level of competition of the industrial chain. The establishment of the service platform for the industry chain, can provide a powerful tool for realizing efficient collaboration.In this paper, the related business between different enterprises and the characteristics of structure of the manufacturing industry chain are studied. Through the analysis and conclusion for the informationize demand of the related enterprises, the business modes and relevant function modes are built. Then, based on these studies, an information service platform is established. And then, the service and implement modes of the platform are studied. The detail process and contents the paper studies including: Analysis of related business and collaboration demand between different enterprises in the industry chainThe analysis of related business and collaborative demand is the base of the establishment of information service platform. Combining the theory of industry value chain, this paper studies the structure of the manufacturing industry chain, the characteristic of enterprises in the chain and the meaning of the related business. The four kind of related business are then summed up, which are commerce relation, design relation, manufacturing relation and service relation. And then the collaboration demand, according the four different kind of related business, is analyzed.The study of the information service platform oriented the related business between different enterprises in the manufacturing industry chain First, the business models of the main process, then the main function model, according to the collaboration demand, are built. And based on these models, the platform is completely designed. At last, the service modes of the platform are studied, which include content service, software service and operation outsourcing services based on ASP.The study of the operation modes and implement methodsThe value of the platform can be realized only when it is applied in the enterprises, so it is quite necessary to study the operation modes and implement methods. Two kinds of operation modes, according to the characteristics of the enterprises and the technical architecture of the platform, are proposed. One mode is that the core enterprises buy and operate the platform by itself. The other mode is that enterprises hire the platform. Besides, the implement methods are discussed, after which the implement steps are summed up.
