Various express enterprises have been developed with the increase of China's economy and society.With the coming of the International express enterprises,competition in the express market is heating up visibly.This makes domestic express companies not only China EMS but also individually-run enterprises subject to their biggest tests of all.How to survive for express enterprises and how to protect domestic businesses for the government is an urgent problem.Cost management and customer service are the major elements during the business war.This essay is focus on discussion an organized transportation network path which can dramatically improve the efficiency of cost management and customer service.This dissertation firstly demonstrates the necessity of GIS in the application of the express network designing.It is an important method to analyze express network using GIS because of its visualized and accurate results.Based on researching the geography special data,this essay analyses and compares three different network modes---node to node mode,transfer mode and Hub mode.Then it discusses the layout of the service nodes and its optimization.Due to the fasting development of network calculation,after discussion the structure and point of the shortest route,introduce the multi thread method to increasing the calculation speed and how to maintain and manage multi thread would be the next topic.The mend of network map's arithmetic is to use multi-threads instead of recursion. Multi-threads can improve efficiency of the arithmetic,to reduce time of the arithmetic running.But the method will create a lot of threads,so next important problem is how to control and manage these threads.With reasonable management the multi-threads return values are in order to make the system stability.Finally,it sets an example of EMS and has detailed demonstration and analysis about the structure of network,including the implementing feasibility of the mixed network pattern,the choice of network point and the construction of transport network. The design of automatic chain scission and error handing about crossover point of express network was completed.Thereby,the automatic construction of topological structure for express network and the search of the shortest route were achieved based on GIS(MapInfo).The Shortest Route Arithmetic not only focuses on selecting the best path,but also let us minimize the cost and time by transforming the parameters.
