With the fast growth of the industrial control,RFID,data acquisition and data exchange,the high speed data transmission function is becoming more and more important.Meanwhile,because of the TETRA digital trunk's narrow band,there exists the obstacle to transmit mass data at high speed.To solve this problem,a design has been proposed by this thesis which integrated the high speed wireless transmission module in TETRA digital trunk terminal.So the module and the digital trunking system form the supplementary with each other.This design expands the terminal's application and also the need can be satisfied.The thesis takes the TETRA trunking terminal project as the background,integrates the 802.11g wireless network card module in the digital trunking system hardware platform.The main focus of the design is to complete the driver for this module based on embedded operation system Windows CE.Based on PXA270 processor's SSP serial port,a blue print is given firstly in the article to setup a channel to communicate with Azure Wave Corporation's wireless network card module GH320.Secondly,takes Windows CE's Network Driver Interface Specification(NDIS) as a foundation,realizes the miniport network driver,the SSP interface initialization,interrupt,the DMA controller's initialization and the firmware's download.In addition,API IO controller is designed for the OS to control the hardware. The load of driver and the way to add driver to the OS core have been described in detail as well.Finally,the wireless network card driver load and test result were shown, which indicates that the drivers is reliable and effective at the end of the paper.The TETRA digital trunking mobile terminal which integrates 802.11g wireless network card module has realized the high speed data transmission,and has been used in practical application.
