The Attest Of Website Information Flows' Fuzzy Distance Decay And Its' Spatial Structure

This thesis is based on the World Summit on the Information Society(WSIS) and the International Geographical Union(IGU) to the related issues,as well as the discussion of the "distance is dead" which appears along with the advance of information.It selects a topic focusing on the discussion of the new characteristic about the "distance decay" which takes place in the network information age.It takes the tourism website as the research object, utilizes the theory induction method and experimental method,and it also filtrates the data of the sample websites on the principles of science,integrity and reliability.Finally,it carries out experimental research from two aspects:the tourism website information flows' distance decay characteristic and its' spatial structure type.The study found that there is also some extents' distance decay of the website information flows,but such attenuation which has a greater ambiguity and complexity is different from the traditional distance decay phenomenon. In a word,this study will further improve the classical theory of economic geography,and give some significant proposition for regional development and the construction of commercial information.This thesis is composed of five parts:The first part is the introduction.Firstly,it reviews and analyzes related literatures of domestic and foreign.Secondly,it analyzes the significant meaning of the current research on the distance decay of website information flows' from the follow three aspects,such as:the social development background,the subject development background and the commercial application to,so as to clarify that this research project is conformed to the current research tendency and need.Then introduces the research methods and finally designs the research content and frame of the thesis.The second part is an important prerequisite for this study,which constructs the research theories and methods.First of all,it starts from the principle of distance decay in traditional location,and combined with the related literatures of the contemporary tourist flow,traffic flow,telecommunication flow to set up the distance decay frame of reference,to make the study of the website information flows' distance decay more dependable.Secondly,with the introduction and improvements of the gravity model,the information flow diffusion model and the network diffusion model to set up a composite model for website information flow distance decay.Afterward,it selects fourteen types of tested city and twenty-five tourism websites in these cities for study.It also uses a variety of search engines to inquire the geographical distance between each province,and the data of visitors and web links.Finally lays a theory and data foundation for the follow empirical analysis.The third part is a main body of the whole thesis.It takes the sample tourism websites as the research objects to analysis the distance variety characteristics of the website information flows from three aspects(the website visitors,the web links and the latency).With the assist of the distance changing figure,the quantitative model and the distance correlative scatter diagram,the new features of the website information flows distance decay is gradually carried out.The study found that there are some similarity between the distance decay of the website information flow and the traditional tourist flow,traffic flow,telecommunications flows,but its character is more ambiguous and complex,which proposed the definition of "fuzzy distance decay".The fourth part is further study of the third part,which uses two kinds of data such as the gravity model attractive coefficient and the proportion of the website visitors to divide the spatial type of the tourism website information flows' distance decay from the attractive strength and the attractive scope two aspects.So as to make the research about the relationship between the website information flows and distance more specific.The fifth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research results and deficiencies of this thesis.
