The Framework Of Semantic Web Service Discovery Based On Context And Its Application

At present, the methods of semantic Web service discovery are restricted by the user's context information. So the services found through these methods can not meet the expectations of the users excellently. In order to meet the user's requirement, how to effectively integrate the context information for the realization of Web service discovery is becoming a hot subject of research.Although the research work of Web service based on the context-aware have achieved some research results, due to the method of context information modeling, the context information usually contains only grammatical information. The context information is lacking of semantic information and context elicitation. The matching strategy of semantic Web service discovery which uses context technology is hardly satisfactory.In response to these problems, some relevant technologies and methods of semantic Web service discovery based on context are researched in this paper.Firstly, the context ontology is build and a JESS-enabled context elicitation method is brought. Context computing technologies are analyzed. A context model based on ontology is designed by using ontology-based method in the context modeling. Due to the potential reasoning capacity of ontology, a JESS-enabled context elicitation system is brought based on the context ontology.Secondly, a semantic Web service discovery frame based on context and a matching strategy are brought. On the basis of the original semantic Web service discovery framework, context factors are added. The existed method of service similarity based on the semantic distance is improved. The depth and non-inheritance relations factors are added in the calculation of semantic distance. Two-tier matching strategy is brought which achieves context matching after realizing function matching.Finally, the feasibility of the framework of semantic Web service discovery is validated through an example. Two-tier matching is tested by using the test suite to verify the superiority of the matching method. An example in the field of tourism which validate the feasibility of this method is studied.
