With the development of Semantic Web technology and Web Services,Semantic Web Services has become a new important research domain.Its mechanism is to perform semantic description for Web Services with ontology language.Thus,computers can understand the semantic-meanings of the services to realize high interoperability of Web Services.The strategy of organization and management for the semantic information will directly affect the service integration and the retrieval efficiency.Syntax-based centralized Web services management mechanisms can't meet the requirements on the semantic level for their characteristics of structure and scale.Ontology technologies combined with directory service mechanisms provide a new way to solve this problem.Firstly,research background,significance and the ways of the research are presented. Secondly,technologies that support Semantic Web Services and the working mechanism of directory services are clarified.Then,the construction features of Web Services ontologies are analyzed.On this basis,proposes a framework for Ontology Directory Services system,a prototype based on LDAP mechanism is designed and implemented.Finally,experiments with the standard use case from DFKI.Three indicators have been employed for the experiment assessment of the system's strengths and weaknesses.The method to improve the weaknesses is also indicated.The Literature Research method has set up a theoretical foundation for proposing the research purpose and necessity.Functional and Comparative Analysis method is adopted to compare the results of existing research and systems.As far as the semantic web services integration is concerned,the dissertation puts forward solutions and demonstrates it's feasible. The simulation experiment is performed in the help of normative semantic web services test cases and its results are evaluated by qualitative and quantitative analysis.The experimental results reveal that the proposed mechanism for ontology directory service is an effective way to support semantic web services integration and retrieval.
