The technology of Web Services is based on XML, its message protocol-SOAP can work by the support of HTTP which is most widely used, and data is formulated in the format of XML, a standard and open criterion. These advantages bring us a new way to cooperate among different opponent and transmit information. The service-orient developing method saves us the time to rebuild new applications to work together by encapsulating all kinds of systems with standard interface and data format. In this paper, we try to find new way to impletement the data integration and extraction in the frame work of Web Services. There are two emphases in the solution: How to select the proper one from lots of data resources within the Internet Enviroment; How to enable the intelligent systems to locate data correctly according to the semantic meaning.Usability is an important aspect of quality of service (QOS). The usability of Web services indicates the probability of a service being in normal working state after being deployed, especially whether it exists or is ready for use. There are few effective methods for measuring the usability of Web services and fewer supports for getting the usability information from the request point of view in Web Services Framework. This paper proposes a new approach to measuring the usability of Web services, in which an improved messaging mechanism is utilized and the measuring is accomplished as messages being exchanged between the request and the provider. Further, our approach provides quantitative measuring for the request to make choice among different web service providers.Semantic conflicts restrict the development of data extraction and integration. In the software engineering, the software system can be developed following the model described by UML. This semantic-based approach can also be applied to the database design, making it easy to arrive at an agreement between customers and designers. Furthermore, the semantic model is the key to the data extraction and integration in the future. This paper proposes an Ontology-based Semantic Design Pattern for Relational Database. The abstract concepts can be transferred into the data structure of low layer with the help of semantic model. The semantic model also enables intelligence agents to handle the semantic information in data extraction and integration with high efficiency and veracity.
