With the continuous improvement of the ground-based mobile digital television broadcasting system and the rapid development of the digital TV market,the development and application of mobile digital TV terminals will be bound to the future development direction of multimedia handheld devices.Handheld digital TV products,as one of the mobile digital TV business,will have great economic potential. For handheld digital television technology research and development,China has only just begun and many developed countries in this area has just started.So China should seize this favorable opportunity to actively promote the handheld digital TV business development,to enable consumers to enjoy earlier this convenient and fast multimedia services.T-DMB comes true the transition from DAB to DMB in technical and commercial aspects to find a new selling point of the market and also provides a media platform for application of new broadcasting.DMB technology as mature based on the DAB system,has a reliable guarantee both in the reliability and the stability of the system.Therefore,this paper puts forward a handheld digital television receivers program based on the T-DMB standards and also has a certain reference for China's mobile handheld digital television development.This paper introduces the process of the design and implementation of the handheld digital TV reception system based on T-DMB technology and focuses on the receiving system software and hardware design.System hardware design mainly includes:SH-Mobile platform hardware framework,front-end receiving and descrambling module,back-end audio and video output module and external memory modules,debug interface module and so on functional circuit design.The design of the key software modules includes:demultiplexing design of T-DMB signal, descrambling and decryption.design,the design of SD card storage scheme and the data organization and storage policy of the shares data that is the main data service.It relates to T-DMB standard,MPEG-2 TS transport stream structure,multiplexing principle,as well as encryption and decryption principle and many other key technologies.Finally,the thesis also refers to the function test of the handheld digital TV receiving system which mainly includes the T-DMB signal's minimum sensitivity, the quality of the demoduled TS stream,whether the channel programs search and program list analysis are correct,whether the decoded images are fluent and whether the interface is clear and stable.By testing,the receiving system design achieves the desired results in the respect of features,performance and efficiency as well as system stability.At the same time,the paper also put forward the direction of further research and development for the inadequacies of the handheld digital television receiver system.At last,the market and economic potential on the handheld digital TV products are prospected and the mobile TV products based on the Chinese domestic standard are greatly expected.
