With the fast development of communication technology and wide application of repeater,monitor system of f repeater has taken a important part in monitoring operating state and remote control,however,current monitor system of repeater usually took single chip microcomputer as main controller,transferred data by means of GSM and PSTN;with more and more complex function of repeater,the current monitor system of monitor also shows some disadvantage,such as slow speed of data processing and data transferring;In order to improve the disadvantage of the current monitor system of repeater,based on ARM control platform and GPRS technology, the fiber-optic repeater monitoring system was designed.Based on depth investigation of developing status and technical realization of the current monitor system of fiber repeater,according to technical Specification of monitor system of china mobile,operating principle and integral architecture of monitoring system of fiber-optic repeater were introduced;LPC2134 was used as MCU and SIMCOM300 was used as telecommunication module;its hardware system and peripheral interface circuit were analyzed,its software system and process were discussed,its application software was designed by means of VC++6.0 based on SOCKET and ADO.The device operates well under examination,it has low cost of communication and manipulates data and transfers data fast,it offers a new way for monitoring the fiber-optic repeater.
