Visualization of virtual plants development is important to the research for agriculture and it has good foreground.It is a focal topic to combine morphologic model and physiological model.First,The betterment of open L system is discussed in this paper and based on it the whole model of virtual plants development is constructed which provide interface for the combination of morphologic model and physiological model.Then,the Isatis timctoria is taken as the research object and the morphologic models of its organs are discussed,and a simple physiological model is created which include the affection of temperature to base leaf of Isatis timctoria.At last,the design and implementation of prototype system is also discussed The results show that through the system plant growth effect can be simulated vividly,and the four layered model provide a good solution to the combination of morphologic model and physiological model.
