The research objects of the piece are three-dimensioned geometric shape modeling and visualization for crops. Taking Maize as an example, it covers some research on the modeling and visualization for the static and dynamic Maize leaf, the modeling and visualization for dynamic maize root system. It probes how to make visualization of the organism, single plant, and collection of maize in computer, and studies the aspect of designing and developing virtual software for maize.This article closely centers on the three-dimensional geometry form modeling and visualization of the crop, studies the leaf of the maize crop emphatically, three-dimensioned geometry modeling and visualization of non- hard objects, such as root system, etc... Chapter one of the thesis has mainly explained the basic conception of the three-dimensioned geometry modeling and visualization, commonly used methods for modeling and visualization, and their applications in virtual agriculture. Chapter two explains mainly several kinds of static modeling and visualization methods for the leaf of the maize crop, and their applications in virtual agriculture. Chapter three mainly explains the dynamic three-dimensional geometry form modeling of the blade of the maize crop mainly, the visualization method based on dynamical modeling, and their application prospect in virtual agriculture. Chapter four explains the dynamic modeling and visualization for root system of Crops. Chapter five explains the designing and development of software based on the above-mentioned modeling and visual method mainly -Three-dimensional modeling and visual of the crops. Chapter six of thesis is mainly the summarization for the whole article, and proposes the work to be done in the future.The main conclusion and progress made in this article, which are the works I am doing during the study for the M.S degree, are as follows:1. Through the study on static modeling method for three-dimensioned geometry form, on the basis of the observation and studying on the static form of maize leaf, put forward the static modeling method for static maize leaf based on measuredthere-dimensioned data -static leaf modeling method based on Cardinal spine and triangle faces2. Because the complicated form which changes which changes greatly with the growth progress, the form change of maize leaf is divided into four remarkable periods .the construction method of the vein of the maize leaf is proposed based on movement law on physics, combined with certain computer graphic knowledge, the there-dimensioned modeling method of construction dynamic maize leaf is put forward.3. Combined with the commonly used modeling method for non- regular object -Particle system, the dynamic modeling method is proposed for maize crop root system.4. In order to realize the principle of putting theory into production, taking maize as an example, how to design and develop the specific software which can be used in researches in agriculture is discussed in the this article.
