With fast development of new digital signal processing technology, and the release of new high performance of DSP chips, high performance of radar signal processing develops fast. And besides, the strong hardware platform provides the dependability for the software realization of real time signal processing, and let. the DSP developers throw off the hardware design and configure. Based on MATLAB, the Simulink supports graphics modeling and code generation on multi-embedded processor, and it makes system design, development, test easy for developer. This thesis is focused on the Simulink simulation and the study of the signal processing system based on ADSP TS201 on software design and hardware debugging. The significant results of the work include:First, the paper introduces hardware resources of ADSP-TS201, and introduces the interruption, link port and DMA transmission emphatically. The Integrated Development Environment for TS201 chip is also summarized. The more crucial of mixed-language programming and the LDF file are described in detail.Second, this paper studies a method that achieves the development of typical radar signal processing model on TS201 hardware platform, and analyses some key problem on producing code automatically with Simulink tool. With Simulink and MATLAB, this paper gives an integrative solving scheme which can design, realize and validate the radar signal processing system on the TS201 hardware platform.Finally, this paper introduces the UNIVI-TS6CPCI hardware platform, and realizes the PC, MTD and CFAR on single TS201.
