With the"four-anti"characteristics of anti-ARM, anti-jamming, anti-low-attitude penetration and anti-stealth, the passive radar system based on opportunity illuminators is becoming an important trend of radar system. A project of a passive radar signal processing system based on television audio signal is detailed introduced in this paper, which is presented along with general signal processing platform and technologies regarding Adaptive Clutter Cancellation, Pulse Compression, CFAR Detection and Data Processing. ADSP TS201 is the key digital signal processing (DSP) chip in the subsystem of the passive radar system based on opportunity illuminators, so the characters of ADSP TS201 and the technology of building a parallel processing system with ADSP TS201 and how to debugging are given firstly. Then the theories of Adaptive Clutter Cancellation, Pulse Compression, CFAR Detection are discussed, and by using general signal processing platform, the realizations are stressed. Finally, analyses and schemes are presented according to the results of outfield experimentation and the problems of target's tracking encountered by the display terminal.
