An IC Intelligent Management System For Elevator Access

This paper makes an analysis on the development of intelligent building and current situation of elevators in daily life, and based on the actual demand and features of computer hardware and software, provides an effective solution, i.e. building a set of elevator smart IC card management and monitoring system.The purpose of the present paper is to introduce the designing process of the management and monitoring system. Stipulating data rules between IC card and elevator intelligent controller, monitoring the status of the elevator and making all kinds of Access Control Card like normal Card, report of loss Card etc. are the major concerns of the research.Taking the cost and applicability of hardware into consideration, Mifare one IC S50 ,MUR-100 data reader ,elevator intelligent controller and Saro 3130P GPRS DTU was chosen, and they has a high cost/performance ratio.The software system was programmed with the help of Borland C++ Builder and SQL Server2000. In the system, a data assistant management module is designed to ensure the security of the data, and a IC Card management module to manipulate the card affairs, such as reporting of loss card, card activation, card canceling, card recycling and so on. A super setting module, specially designed for building, is to actualize the building management. At last, an online monitoring module is used to do real-time monitoring on the elevator usage. The software system is designed on the easy-to-use principle, thus users can operate without training.The elevator IC card intelligent management and remote monitoring system are advantageous in many aspects: easy to use, highly reliable, convenient for maintenance, cheap but widely applicable. It is worthy of hard promotion.
