| REMS (Remote Elevator Monitoring System) is an important part of elevator usage. However, the Remote Elevator Monitoring Systems promoted by both home and abroad are only focused on one or some specific types of elevators, besides, most of them are set up by special lines. So these systems are not only expensive but lack systemic compatibility and generality. The author of this paper, by taking advantage of the highly advanced modern computer network and multimedia technology and the powerful VC++ programs, designed a set of network based REMS, which has the characteristics of low cost, convenient installment and usage, high generality. This paper first presents the condition and related technology of REMS and then talks about the general programming of this control system and the functions of every modules. After that, it discusses the collection and realization of function information of elevator. Finally, it expatiates on the design of the software of network based REMS and its effects in usage. It also views the future development and improvement of this system. |
