The Design And Implementation On The CIP System Of Interactive Digital TV

The VOD system of interactive digital TV gives people high visual enjoy, but italso brings operator many problems in management. Every program on VOD systemis offered by the CIP, so the programs are the keys of the VOD. The produce of theprogram is a series of flows which include auditing, process, edit, issuance, anddownload. After all of these flows audience can watch the video on the STB. Thewhole course needs different employees and machines to finish. So it is a task tomanage the CIP availably for manager.The main task of this paper is the research and realization of the CIP system oninteractive digital TV. This paper investigates the design of the program of thecollection, the design of the network environment, the base of the program edit, thebase on the metadata in TEDA, and interface between CIP and VOD. It includes someknowledge of MPEG-2 and ADI specs from Cablelabs.We should know the concept ofthe CIP system and study the design of the Transport Stream and some programs fromSTB.It also tell us the XML specification of version 2.0 in detail.This paper introduces the design of the collection system, and compares differentplans, and gives the better method. In addition, this paper introduces TEDA metadatastandard, and through debugging and testing, the interface is proved to be applicable.
