This article aims at the upgrade of high speed wire rolling mill computer control system. This article analyzed each tache in the automatization system at the bases of the study and analysis of the present situation.First it introduced several advanced steel strolling product lines internal and overseas, compared their advantages and disadvantages and discussed the development of the future. Then this article introduced the theories that mentioned in the design, explained three kinds of networks which can transfer signals; analyzed the main theories that used in the steel strolling techniques, mainly about the theories of train and strain less strolling.After that this article analyzed the demands of the product line of the control system, under the condition of applicable, economical, stable and reliable lodged a method that can solve the problems in the control systems.The design and application of this paper was discussed in detail, include followings, the automation system configuration, T400 technology board used in the flying shear, the adjustment and program of loop control, the functions of monitor and control system.The Mingshun Steel Rolling Factory already adopts this design, the equipment operates well, and the effect of the upgrade is obvious.
