Currently, new style TV transmitter is being developed with the intelligentized and networked trend. Having developed for many years, the main technology of transmitter has been a rather popular thing.And the multiple PC monitor and control system has been implemented widely in Control&Monitor fields. This kind of system usually utilizes serial port and network communication with the data collection SBC. Software which is installed in this system can send the work status data of TV transmitter to the remote PC for user to monitor using serial port or network, and receive the commands from the remote PC for user to control as well.Using software, working data will be saved to reports daily or monthly according to the need of users. Users can start or shutdown transmitter remotely, manually or automatically. Thus users will be able to monitor and control the machines far from the noisy and harmful radiant environment.This paper combined the control&monitor technology development, focus on the Embedded control techniques, software development based on Windows CE and the control commands transmission realizing.This control&monitor system includes local and remote parts.Local part is based on Windows CE for the OS, EVC4.0 for software development and the Axiomtek embedded main board. We provided the 8.4 LCD and touch screen for better user experience. Using serial port, it can communicate with SBC to collect all working data of machine, and send control commands to SBC. At the same time, the working data and control commans can be transmitted with the remote part. Via local control system, user can monitor and control machine locally.Remote part usually is installed on remote PC. Using VB6.0 for software development, and network for communication with local system.Local system send all transmitter work data to remote system via TCP/IP protocol. Remote system processes the data for users to monitor or control the transmitter. Control command will be transferred back to local system, and then will be proceeded together with the SBC. With the reomote system, user can monitor and control machine remotely.
