The Design And Implementation Of The PC Remote Control Solution Based On Bluetooth

The PC remote control solution based on Bluetooth comes off with the popularization of smart mobile phones. Personal smart mobile devices and smart house sets become connected with PC software applications through wireless communications. Bluetooth is one choice for remote control system on mobile devices to use computers. Computer users will be more convenient from being limited by wire input devices, which help user control some PC applications on a smart mobile device.The system is developed based on C/S structure, which has a control-side client and a controlled-side server. Compared with other kinds of wireless communication methods, Bluetooth is more suitable for the communication environment and selected to support the communication functions. The Bluetooth communication part is developed using a SDK based on Widcomm Bluetooth stack, which contains two modules, one for data communication and the other for files exchange. Key functions packaged in Bluetooth communication modules can be used by the control module by P/Invoke method. An extended module named "Data management" is used to manage all the data while the system is running. Important data structures and process diagrams have been presented in detail.The key functions of remote control and files exchange have been designed and implemented. More extended functions can be added into the system for new applications.
