In the 21st century, The energy crisis is increasingly serious, Energy-saving has become a practical issues faced by all walks of life .The subject starts around this background. In light of cranes, trucks and other vehicles in charge of transport in Tianjin port company, a new generation vehicle fuel-metering device is developed with own intellectual property rights in order to save fuel, reduce production costs and manage scientifically .The subject achieves intelligent handling, humane operation under the premise of accurate measurement as well as cost control, In addition, the use of radio frequency communication technology makes recording precise amount of fuel-consumed in any working hours come true. PIC single chip microprocessor is chosen as the main control chip which has such features as low-power, high-speed, strong driving ability and so on. In the design, taking into account of security, durability (life), maintainability of the entire system, it is as far as possible designed to "fool"-so that it is very easy to operate for user. The hardware circuit is modular in design, this improves the reliability of the system. Because of the bad conditions in application spot, the structural design adopts anti - seismic style.The Wiegand sensor which is a kind of zero power sensor is chosen as the signal acquisition sensor. The application of the Wiegand sensor improves the performance of the signal acquisition and it can measure the turns of the mechanical rotor accurately. At the same time, the sensor does not consume electric energy of the system, so the realization of the fuel-metering device with low power and high accuracy measurement is offered the favorable base.Through a large number of field experiments, results showed that, the vehicle oil consumption metering system based on the design of this paper research results installs conveniently, it transmits information conveniently as well as quickly with advanced reliable measurement method, this greatly enhance the production efficiency of the drivers and effectively avoid the waste phenomenon, which lay a good foundation for further application widely.
