The good status of automobile is basic guarantee for automobile driving safety, in which the performance of checking security is a significant method that guarantees the conditions of running in the techniques of the automobile. Nowadays the techniques of utilizing the modern sensor, the techniques of computer and the techniques of integrated intelligent system has became a researching hotspot for the development of modern automobile safety performance in the technology of inspection.Taking a wide view of automobile safety performance inspection systems and the control of system mode in our country, there are the following modes: the centralized control mode, the relayed control mode, the layered decentralized control mode and the distributed control mode. After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of various control modes, the scheme of distributed automobile safety inspection is proposed. The system is composed of one applying station, three inspection stations and one principal controller (server). Each inspection station all adopts measurement and control hardware based on PC bus, and work independently. The control computers of inspection stations are connected with the principal controller as network server of control station and through LAN to coordinate the work of each inspection station.This essay researches the hardware design of every part in the distributed automobile safety performance inspection system and giving the example of the hardware realization of the brake performance inspection, the acquisition, the analysis and the process of data and the measure of process controlling which are also discussed in detail. The systematic software which is based on the operating system of Windows 2000 and written by the language of VB, and realized according to the principle of modularization. In this thesis, construction of the database model, communication technology, vehicle scheduling and other key technologies are also studied.This system which adopted distributed structure ,and can measure many vehicles simultaneously, which improves the systematic speed of measuring and has an important significance to the automobile's performance of security, the performance of steady and the realization of testing automatic interconnect power transmission network theoretically and the values in practice.
