Based on the U.S. superscript MIL-STD-188-141B agreement,this paper studies primarily on key technologies of 3G physical layer HF Communication. And in this paper I designed a scheme to send and receive the BW2. The key focus is on its technologies improvement and hardware implementation.In HF communications system, due to multi-path effects often caused the channel fading, in addition to the code BW2's high transmission rate, lead to a serious crosstalk among symbol neighbors. To overcome the signal distortion caused Crosstalk code, we must increase the equalizer in the receiver to compensate channel properties send resume correct sequence. Research is already very mature for the equalizer. The paper focuses on the research of high-performance algorithm based on FPGA implements. A detailed analysis of QRD-RLS algorithm and its systolic array achieve are made in the third chapter.Viterbi decoding algorithm of convolutional codes and its implements based on FPGA is another focus of the article. In this paper, the sending signal adopts spread spectrum system and 8PSK constellation modulation. Taking into account the short-wave channel noise, the decline of the Doppler frequency shift and multi-path effects, the program used a coding error control programs to achieve the purpose of anti-fading; this paper presents an improved Viterbi algorithm, applied to the 3G HF communications, applying on FPGA. Its feature is real-time and the amount of hardware resources is less than traditional method.
