Infrared imaging system is widely used in the areas of military affairs, industry, agriculture, medical and so on. Infrared imaging acquires the image information from the intensity distribution of the infrared radiation. Infrared image has the features of high background, low contrast and low SNR. As to acquire infrared image of high quality for observing, we should carry out analog processing and digital image processing such as enhancement and noise removal to the original images.The title of this paper is Analog Signal Processing and Digital Communication Technology of the Infrared Imaging System. First ,analog circuitry with the functions of DC deduction, background deduction and low noise amplify is designed. Then, after the A/D converting, digital signals of formal infrared signal and target are input in the following digital image processing board. Then based on the digital signal processor DM642 of TI company, the paper introduces its own digital port. The video port is a bidirectional, high-speed and parallel processing port. A proposal to implement targets of real-time transporting BT.656 data flow between two DSP is presented. This proposal is applicable to the system of bi-DSP or multiple DSP. The technology can insure the real-time and stable signal transmitting between the processors. The immediacy and stability of the whole digital image processing system can be greatly promoted.
