With improvement of properties of sensor elements, new methods and technique are introduced to security field, especially the infrared technology. Infrared spectrums can be detected in some wavelength using infrared sensor, and then temperature signals are transformed to electronic signals so as to detect the location of people. The infrared thermal imaging technique is kind of passive ,non-contact detection and recognition technique ,which is never disturbed by electronic magnet ,and long distant thermal targets can be tracked with the technology precisely which is more and more popular with high developments.In this paper, the application and development of uncolded focal plane array(UFPA) are expatiated and the theory and system instruction are introduced in all aspects based on plenty of related references.The system of UFPA is designed for car dumper house in coal factory.Structure and working condition characters of car dumper house and distribution properties of biomass are researched deeply .The scale of UFPA detection system is designed and is applicable to dusty and dark work condition.Serious effects caused by non-uniformity of UFPA are analysised and the traditional algorithm is improved by adding weight coefficients to count the expect value. Based on the noise in the car dumper house , non-uniformity of infrared pictures are processed, and therefore improve the quality of picture.Infrared detection system is simulated , pyroelectric infrared sensor is designed as the alarm part of detecting system.The error value waves are analysised between new algorithm with new learning rate and traditional algorithm, which are simulated using Matlab toolbox to simulate algorithm in this paper,controlling programs are programed using C language and compile language,complish three layers wavelet transform of infrared images.
