Research And Implementation Of Marine Main Engine Control System

Micro-computer console in ship control system has won increasingly broad applications. It not only meet all the conventional control system functions, but also apply to the requirements of various models remote control.Based on the analyzing of the ship cabin automation, the host control status and development, and considered the current target ship with the use of technical background and the requirements of the main engine control system, the overall design is finished. A programmable logic controller (PLC) system for the control is identified as the core components to achieve control of the console through diesel engine control systems. In this paper, the detailed design of following parts are finished: the control cabinets, control cabinets around the engine, drive control room Caocongsi hardware structure and working principle of diesel engine control system and the hardware circuits, the principle of their work is also introduced. According to the main engine control system functional requirements, the preparation of the PLC Ladder Diagram of procedures is designed to achieve the control of transmission and processing instructions and hardware. In addition, a detailed study of the PLC and remote-communication theory is accomplished, the communication protocol ultimate realization of the macro-control which ensure the real-time, reliable control.In order to test the performance of main engine control system, verify the reasonableness of the system design, and test its reliability, the main engine control system for a joint debugging, such as a series of tests and trials. The successful completion proved that the main engine control system is under fully functional and stable performance, achieve the desired objective, and verify the its accuracy and response reliability, which indicate that the control system realize the real ship's distance wireless remote control.
