Research Of Workflow Transaction Processing Technology

Transation process is come of the database management system, Adopting the data-centric approach, aim at ensure data consistency. Transation in traditional database application is not interactive, and run little time. So accustormed method of transation of transation process, concurrency control and recovery can support well those applications. Our research start is how to attach the transation process character into workflow managment system, to ensure the data consistency in workflow.In this paper we analysis the difference between the transaction in WFMS and traditional transaction, we concluded what's the most important and diffcult in the transaction processing in WFMS. It discusses WS-C/T specification. LTM that is a WFMS model with transaction feature was proposed. LTM uses the framework of the transaction communications which include activity server, register server, communications server. The framework of the transaction can loosen the Atomicity and Isolation of traditional transaetion, can also be as a Practical method of dividing the long running transaetion. In addition, there is a compensating in LTM. In the model, we can describe the transaction semantics and defining long transation at buildtime. Above all, we focus on the long transaction' s defining, managing, implementation. .In aspects of designing and implementation, some key technologies, such as Web Service are especially adopted. The framework and implementation of workflow transaction model are proposed.
