Advanced Transaction Model Improved By Agent In The Workflow System Design

Most of advanced transaction models can not be employed in realistic workflow systems, because of their complicated structures or difficulties in implementation. In the current workflow products and prototype system, most of the workflow transaction (Long Lived Transaction) that no longer have been more researched, therefore the study of advanced Long Lived Transaction (LLT) model which can be used into the realistic workflow system is particularly important.Papers detail the basic concepts associated with the transaction processing, property and affairs of several transaction model, and have a detailed analysis on the errors in the workflow, and focusing on the key technologies of the LLT processing and transaction resume technology. On this basis, learn from MAS which concept is work together, then presents an advanced transaction model LTM-Agent which improved by Agent in the workflow system. The model built on the basis of Object Transaction Service of CORBA, which have platform-independent and language-independent features.The realized platform, LLT control method, LLT process interface and key data structure relate to the implementation of the model are given, and the concrete implementation of LLT manager, transaction agents are analyzed, designed and realized at length. The application of the model and the specialty of LLT processing is illustrated and shown by an example.
