Research On Long Transaction Process For Workflow Based On Web Service

With the workflow technology, e-commerce and EAI systemsutilize web service to implement the business process managementwithin the enterprise and among them, finally make the internetbecome an entity which integration many web service. Transactionprocess is a key technology to guarantee the information reliabilityand consistence.This paper firstly discusses the web service transaction platform,and gives the architecture of the platform. In the architecture, weintroduce the transaction model, transaction collaboration protocol andtransaction description language of web service process. This paperbring forward a workflow transaction model of web service—WTBWS,and defines web service process transaction based on applybeforehand and functional alternation characteristics, and introducetheir collaboration protocols. Based on the WTBWS's characters, wegive the realization design of WTBWS. In the design, we describe therealization architecture and the relationship of each part, and give thedetail design of the key components of the realization of WTBWS.Next, this paper proposes exception recover and failure managestrategy based on transactional semantic and ECA rules on theWTBWS model. It guarantees that Web service can get predictableresults after failure, thereby further protecting the consistency of theworkflow transaction. Finally, the paper introduces Web serviceapplications' utilization on the system of postal services. The WTBWSmodel and ECA rules will apply to the newspapers orderingworkflow transaction process, meanwhile it will adding transcationcontext informations to the BPEL4WS to desribe the process.
