Peer-to-Peer media streaming technology can utilize computing capacity and bandwidth of client effectively. Furthermore, it can make the other clients play a media file and download concurrently, also can provide service using its own idle resources. So, P2P media streaming system is not only one of the applications of P2P technology, but also one of hot spots in the field of distribution system. In this paper, we focus on two problems: (1) nodes searching. (2) the dynamic of nodes. To the first problem, we study the searching mechanism deeply in the Gnutella network, point out the problem that the flooding-search mechanism exists, and propose the I-Flooding searching algorithm based on Routing Indices and Routing Cache. The simulation results demonstrate that, with the enlargement of the network scale, the I-Flooding algorithm can be more effectively to reduce redundant searching messages of the Gnutella network and maintain a relatively high success rate of the searching. To the second problem, we design a media streaming content distribution network model based on CDN and P2P technology, which can better reduce the impact that the dynamic of P2P network exerts on nodes playing and provide better service for an ordinary node.
