The applications of media streaming in the network enriched with thepopularization of the network, the improvement of the bandwidth and the advance ofPC capability. In a traditional client-server streaming system, the server oftenbecomes the bottleneck due to the high bandwidth. ICPs can not afford the expensivecharge of CDN, while IP multicast is hard to deploy effectively for its own limitation.Introduce P2P into real-time media streaming distributing will reduce server's loadand part bandwidth by distribute servers by means of making some PC as server.It iscost-effective and contains good application value in future.This article introduced the design and implement of P2P real-time mediastreaming distributing system. After briefly analyze P2P technology and typical P2Pmedia streaming model, the key technology which will influence the system'sperformance and the challenge of P2P real-time media streaming distributing systemare fully analyzed. Considering network effective, QoS, resource management, timedelay, performance, facility and complexity of realization, this article analyzes anddesigns the key algorithm and the protocol of media management, node management,media streaming QoS control, buffer management, power mechanism and try to makeabove balance. In the end, data distribute system based on P2P real-time mediastreaming named MStreaming is developed and tested. The test result shows thatwithout changing the current deployment of network, the system realized the fastdistribution and location of resources, take the advantage of P2P to solve theneckbottle of servers effectively and make the service and resource dispersive.
