ComapctPCI bus technology is a reinforcement type of computer bus technology, which in the aerospace, military, meteorology, telecommunications and other fields has been extensively applied, which is because that it has many obvious advantages compared to other computer bus architecture.This paper discusses the Development of data acquistition and high-speed serial communication peripheral board based on CompactPCI bus, which composed of 32 channels switching of input and output; 4 channels of serial ports, including 2 channels RS232 communication and 2 channels of high-speed RS485 communication ports, 8 channels of high-speed parallel ADC data acquisition functions.CompactPCI Hot Swap has been implemented in this design. Support PCI compatible with environmental requirements (can work in the PCI bus slots). Specific content includes three aspects: the hardware circuit design, FPGA module design, WDM Driver Design.Research in PCI and CompactPCI bus is given on the basis of the overall programme, hardware focused on the hot-swappable content and its realization. FPGA module design is a focus of this project. It has three modules,high-speed multi-channel AD parallel data acquisition and control modules, control modules and high-speed serial switch volume control module. The first two modules are our focus. Driver Design, we discussed the Hot Swap driver model, but we realize the only non-hot-swappable WDM driver, this chapter is mainly a full-duplex serial port driver design flow chart.
