It is of great significance on the research of optimal scheduling on Three Gorges and Gezhouba power stations.Combining with modern graphics technology, building three.dimensional visualization, information display and integrating mathematical model in the 3D digital simulation platform is an important production value.It is also important to promote of computer engineering and production of the combination.①This paper introduces the operating characteristics of Three Gorges Project and Gezhouba Project,and the necessity of the development of three.dimensional virtual simulation system. It studies on the key technologies in development of a three.dimensional simulation system and virtual simulation Valley Technical Difficulties.②By analyzing the characteristics of watershed modeling, on the basis of the existing research results and software tools, the paper show the solution on the valley terrain, surface features and modeling aspects. it discusses that the method with based on the image of the modeling technology in the simplified model on the application of graphics data and the modeling methods.After adjust structural tree.level and set the degrees.of.freedom of nodes, the method achieves the model features simulated operation.③Based on the state of arts in 3D visualization and simulation system, this paper brings forward three levels in the study of a valley. The above achievements develop the alternation of the real.time display and computations of the valley, which is of great significance on the management and the simulation of the digital valley.④The establishment of the Three Gorges area two.dimensional mathematical model of water flow, the application of body.mesh calculation of the region, finite volume differential equations discrete flow. Before Calculated ,the unreasonable use of the water level in value could be corrected, thereby speeding up the convergence of computing speed.⑤By analyzing the overall system structure, the system is divided into the three modules of information integration,that are three.dimensional visualization, mathematical model and the database.It discusses the the mutual relations. Established a three.dimensional simulation Valley database, discussed the data storage, query and two ties on the spatial data and attribute data. In the three.dimensional visualization and interactive database, realized the real.time data and display capabilities based on the dynamic three.dimensional virtual scene.
