The rapid development and widely use of network technologies lead to the manufacturers to change the mode of their operations. In order to develop high-quality products in very short time, cooperation between enterprises is attached great importance, as well as the technologies which can be used to make distributed enterprises work together. The ways or the technologies about product data management during the process of the collabrate work are very important among these technologies. But the traditional product data management and data exchange technology can no longer meet the needs as the development of PDM to the trends of distributed collabrative direction.According to the features of the Windchill platform used by the enterprise and the background of researching networked collaborative design and manufacturing systems, the paper analyses the requirements of the work flow and data exchange accrossing PDM platform, and then designs an intermediate data integrated system, which can be used to achieve the main collabrative work accrossing PDM platform, such as design, technology and production.According to the modules of collabrative data access control in this system, the paper improves the basic module of RBAC, make extentions to user, role and permission which make the mechanism of access control more flexible and powerful in intagrated platform, can protect the resources effectively, support the uniform authentication and resource access control, and is significant to the development of collabrative environment.When applying the module, the paper takes enterprise relational database system-SQL Server as data platform to construct system data module, using Struts as framework and object-oriented programming language to implement an access control sub-system in intermediate data integrated system, and finally, integrates the sub-system to Windchill platform with AXIS. Simulation results show that the new model is efficient and reliable, and can provide effective protection of distributed cooperation environments.
