Virtual instrument technology is an outgrowth of the combination of computer technique and traditional instruments technique. With powerful computer graphical system and corresponding software and hardware, instrument control, data acquiring, data processing and data displaying can be implemented easily through soft panel. Under virtual instrument development framework, the general high-speed image processing platform is GUI-friendly, steady, easy reused, extendable and with high performance, can serve well in industrial detecting field.The thesis has 4 parts. The First part describes the virtual instrument technology and VI-based general high-speed image processing platform; The second part describes the hardware and software design of this platform exactly; the third part describes 3 key points of the platform; in the forth part, two representative examples of this high-speed image processing platform's application in industrial detecting field are gived, the testing of system performance is showed in detail also.Practice shows that the general high-speed image processing platform under VI framework is good at real-time detection in industrial field.
