As the rapid development of network bandwidth, computer processing capacity, storage capacity, video processing technology, video surveillance has entered the Internet age, that is usually the embedded video supervisory system. Embedded video supervisory system with intuitionistic, user-friendly and informative features increases people's attention and concern and is widely used in many occasions, therefore, we exploitation the embedded video supervisory terminal,which is based on Analog Device incorporation's dual core processor ADSP-BF561 and open sourced uClinux operation system.The module of video collection in the embedded video supervisory terminal includes data collection and realizing of ADV7180's driver. For the data collection, the DMA of PPI was chosen. While in the way of ADV7180's driver, some function ,such as checking the NTSC/PAL, adjusting quality of picture , losing and resuming of picture ,were carried out.By the way of PPPoE with ADSL in the embedded video supervisory terminal, the CIF and D1 picture wobble. Together with the tests by us, analysis of the PPPoE and the design theory of the product, the reason is that the program of PPPoE in core A uses the EAB so long that core B loses the interrupts. Through the analysis of the problem in detail, two ways to solve the problem are founded. Then, these two ways ---dispart block mode and kernel mode based on PPPoE--- are introduced, and how to implement them are explained. Finally, through doing some experiments, it is proved that the two resolving schemes work well and improve the performance of the video transmission.
