USB is a standard connection interface has been widely used for its characteristics such as:fast speed,low power consumption,support for plug-and-play and ease of installation,etc. Thesis design and implement of the USB-ATAPI Converter basing on the APLIF interface of the FS7805's.With its flexible and programmable features to simplify the design of the external hardware to enhance the stability of the system. From the paper,you can see:Firstly,finished the whole design of USB-ATAPI Converter based on USB mass memory transport protocol and achieves the technical circuitry after analyse the structure,characteristics and transport protocol of USB and ATAPI;Secondly,fininshed the hardware design of the converter. Its hardware circuitry contains power circuitry,FS7805 basic circuitry and IDE connection circuitry,and considered the APLIF interface as the core.The design of power circuitry part supply two power supply modes: USB power supply and external power supply;Thirdly,finished the firmware design of USB enumerate,ATAPI command resolve,APLIF undee design and USB data r/w followed the data transport protocol of USB,ATAPI and mass storage transport protocol based on hardware design.This paper solved all the problem occured when deeply analyse the data snatched by debug tools,and confirmed the performance of USB-ATAPI Converter.This paper can extended the application field of the latest FS7805 chip,and also can accelerated the USB to apply to the situations related data transmission.
