Design And Development Of Stream Media Resources Application Platform Based On Elementary And Secondary Schools

At present, China's elementary education has beening developing in the direction of education informationization. Especially in rural areas, the implementing of modern distance education project in elementary and secondary schools, whose core link is the application of education resources, has greatly improved their conditions and environment of informationization. In this paper, taking the application of modern distance education resources in rural elementary and secondary schools in Qichun County, Hubei Province as an example, the present writer has researched and exploited the local education resources on the basis of educational practice. And accordingly the present writer puts forward his own opinion and countermeasure to deal with the problem in application.This paper consists of the following four parts:In the first part, the paper raised the subject research background, research and research methods.In the second part, first, the paper makes an analysis of the current situations concerning the need and application of he modern distance education resources in rural elementary and secondary schools, and puts forward the application strategies and measures. Then, the paper delves into the Stream Media and its application in education, and discusses the feasibility of constructing the long—distance education resources application platform in elementary and secondary schools by using Stream Media.The third part is the main body of this paper. In this part, at first the present writer made design for the framework of the platform mentioned previously, and analyzed the functions of different modules respectively. Then, according to the local network environment, the present writer put into practice some key technologies concerning the resources application platform.In the last part, conclusions and expectations are made. Firstly, the paper proposes solutions to the problems occurring in the process of testing the platform. Secondly, the paper draws a conclusion about the work that has been done in the research, forecasts the prospects of the exploitation and application of the Stream Media resources application platform. Finally, the paper points out the future research areas.
