Design And Development Of Modern Distance Education System For Party Members And Cadres In Beijing City

At present the national modern distance education system with satellite, cable TVnetwork, three kinds of construction mode based on internet. Based on summary ofsuccessful experience of modern distance education system for Party members andcadres in rural areas in Beijing City, the broadband Internet construction mode, thismode is the use of city, District, county level three platform, to set-top box and TV asthe main terminal equipment, providing live video, VOD, graphics and other variousinteractive digital media service to the site through the InternetCompletion of the party members and cadres in rural areas of Beijing city inmodern distance education platform will include municipal front broadcast platform,teaching assistant website, municipal central library system and informationmanagement system is composed of four parts. Through the effective connection andoperation of these four parts, the platform can realize the central resources, Beijingbuilding digital resources, cultural resources and local resources receiving, storage,conversion and distribution, for the terminal site on-demand and live, for rural Partymembers and cadres and peasants to learn to use, to strengthen the construction ofrural areas, grass-roots party organizations to improve the rural Party members andcadres and peasants quality, promote the development of modern urban agriculture’sultimate goal.The content of this project includes the construction of Party members andcadres in rural areas of Beijing city in modern distance education system six partsinvolved in the hardware and software procurement, integration, service, developmentand service and related application software design. The specific content ofconstruction includes the front end broadcasting platform construction, teachingassistant website construction, municipal central library system construction,information management system, network system construction, the construction ofsecurity system of six parts.Detailed functional description includes teaching sites, teaching managementsystem, program distribution system, support system, system testing.
